At 1.37m, the Prism stunt kite is a good introduction for younger flyers to experience Sports Flying…… Easy to control but with really good flying characteristics, the Prism is forgiving enough for beginners to learn but challenging enough to keep them excited. Like the others on this page, it boasts quality ripstop nylon sail & tubular fiberglass frame with professionally molded fittings. It’s designed by Windspeed Kites and is made of strong high performance components.
While not as big or as easy to control as it’s bigger brother the Black Widow, the Prism stunt kite is a great performer for younger and inexperienced flyers and I recommend it to parents looking for a good kite for the kids.
Kite Type:
Stressed-frame swept wing deltas are the new breed of high performance budget priced kites. They are designed in Australia but made in China to exacting specifications. This gives you the performance of Farrari with a Corolla pricetag! The Prism includes stand-offs or ‘whiskers’ that set the sail in three dimensional shape and make it very easy to launch, even by novice flyers.
