The Fire Dragon kite is a magnificently printed design that kids and adults alike will love in the sky. It flys in a wide wind range from Light to Fresh winds and comes with a Red ‘Spinsock’ tail that clips on for even more stable flying on fresher winds. The Fire Dragon has a 3 dimensional head that really looks great in flight. The bright blues and oranges in it’s colour scheme make the kite stand out against a summer sky.

Kids really love flying this Dragon kite also because it is very steady in the sky. It’s the sort of kite that attracts attention because of the great graphics and it’s great attention to detail. Like all of our kites, it comes complete with flying string on a handle. In this case it’s 30kg breaking strain twisted nylon line. The Fire Dragon has a large wingspan (about 1.4 metres) and this large sail area gives it great lift in light winds while the long tail (and additional spinsock) make it really stable as the wind picks up. It has a 5mm hollow fibreglass frame to keep it’s wings spread in flight. The hollow rods give it an excellent ‘sail to weight ratio’ which is kite-speak for not weighing much for it’s size. This Fire Dragon is in the ‘others’ category. It’s not a delta, it’s not a diamond nor is it a dragon (well, it looks like a Dragon, but not a dragon!). As a Single String kite it’s very well suited to kids of most ages in light and medium winds. It’s wide wings give it lift and it’s long tail give the Fire Dragon kite good stability….the best of both worlds.
